Charlotte Upsets (15) Temple
Temple has been hot lately. They were undefeated in conference play. Their only loss since December 1st was to Kansas and they are ranked 15th in the country. That has all changed after their game in Charlotte tonight. They lost to the 49ers 74-64 for one reason- early foul trouble.
Temple has the power to beat almost anyone as they showed with a 10 point win over Villanova (their only loss of the season). But when their best players get into foul trouble and need to sit on the bench for most of the 2nd half, they won’t have a good shot against anybody. Read the rest of this entry »

That’s right… for the first time in 30 years Temple University’s football team is playing in a Bowl game and it’s just hours away. At 4:30 pm today on ESPN, Temple will square off against UCLA from the Pac 10. UCLA comes from a more powerful conference and has had a more prominent football program over the past few years but none of that matters right now. Temple may be the underdog in Vegas but they definitely won’t show that in their play this afternoon.Win or lose, this is a huge milestone for the Temple football program and a story that everyone in Philadelphia should be aware of.
