Life Without Gagne and Carter
Simon Gagne and Jeff Carter will both have surgery on their right foot this Friday. Both Gagne and Carter suffered a fracture in their right foot during the game last night. Ironically they both came from interfering with a slap shot. Gagne was hit with the puck shot by New Jersey’s Kovalchuck. Carter was hit by teammate Chris Pronger but at least his injury resulted in his second goal of the night.
Both players are listed as day-to-day and obviously won’t be able to play Thursday. However it us unsure when they will exactly be able to return.
