Do You Love DeSean As Much As He Loves Himself? (VIDEO)
DeSean Jackson is the man. His play week in and week out and his development since being selected by the Eagles shows that he’s got what it takes to be an everyday contributor. He may not have the size of some of the NFL greats like Andre Johnson and Randy Moss but he has more quickness and just as much big playmaking ability. NFL fans know he’s a special player and this video is proof that he knows it too.
The video clip is something I watched on SportsCenter the day after the Eagles beat the Redskins a few weeks ago. I hunted it down from espn.com and it’s something worth watching for every Eagles fan. His cockiness and attitude makes me like him more but probably pisses off the fans of every other team in the league. He’s the man and he knows it. Watch and enjoy:
More on Halladay
Will he be in a Phillies jersey by the end of next week? There are very mixed reports coming from everywhere. Last night the big news was that the Blue Jays announced their demands from the Phills and it would be J.A. Happ, top pitching prospect Kyle Drabek and outfield prospect Dominic Brown. To me that was a very steep asking price and the news today was that the Phillies agreed with me and would not give all three of those players up.
The next news report was that the Angels and Dodgers were in on the talks making Phillies fans around the country think the chances were looking slimmer and slimmer. According to ESPN’s Jayson Stark, that is not the case and the Phillies should be getting this deal done one way or another. He says, while they won’t give up the three players listed above, there are about 8 names floating around the perfect match just has to be put together. This is great news to me. Getting this deal done without trading both Happ and Drabek is definitely a good think. Stark thinks it is a necessary move if the Phillies want to make another World Series run. Here is the ESPN video. Pretty nice piece. Watch it and tell us what you think.
