It All Comes Down to This
With so much excitement and anxiety surrounding the Flyers next 2 games, you can be assured that they will be entertaining. Tonight they will start a season ending, home and home series against the Rangers where they control their own destiny. They only need 2 points to clinch a playoff birth but the Rangers will be fighting hard because they want to make the playoffs just as much as the Flyers.
They have been playing well as of late and should be able to put it away. If Jeff Carter plays, it will be a huge boost for a team that has been missing their leading scorer for the past few weeks. He was expected to miss a lot longer than this and he will be a game time decision for tonight’s game. That’s pretty incredible considering he fractured a bone in his foot just 19 days ago.
If all goes well, Flyers can even climb into 6th in the Eastern Conference but first we just just hope for the playoff birth.
If this situation doesn’t motivate the Flyers to get 2 points, than nothing can and there will probably be some major changes made in the offseason. But, I don’t think we have anything to worry about. Sit back and enjoy these 2 games because NHL hockey doesn’t get more exciting than this.
