The Eagles Will Finish With ___ Wins This Year
We’re back with another installment of “Fill It In” with an interesting question. On Saturday Eagles fans were impressed and content. The Birds were off to a 3-1 start and were up against the horrible Oakland Raiders. By the time the Eagles played on Sunday, we also knew that the Giants lost and an Eagles win would move them into a tie for first in the NL East.
Then they played the game on Sunday and for those few hours, all of our excitement went down the drain. They looked sloppy in almost all aspects of the game. The offensive line was atrocious and did not permit the team to run. Because of how bad they were, McNabb was sacked and hurried too many times to be productive. Missed field goals and bad calls by the referees also contributed to the embarrassing loss. Many experts and fans changed their outlook on the rest of the season after this game. Did you? Here is this week’s “Fill It In” :
The Eagles will finish with ____ wins this year.
Our opinion:10. I’m not convinced that Sunday’s game was the true Eagles team. The Eagles averaged more than 30 points per game going into that one and I think they were just off (even though it was inexcusable). If the O-Line gets healthy for once, they should get back into the normal flow. You also have to keep in mind that Andy Reid left open the possibility of a trade in a recent press conference by stating that the Eagles are “keeping their eyes open” and “looking”.
4 more losses is not too bad considering the difficulty of the rest of their schedule. Besides the 6 divisional matchups, they play the Broncos, Falcons, Bears and Chargers. These will all be good games but I still think 10 wins is very achievable. They just need to brush off the week 6 loss and move ahead. How many do you think the Eagles will win this year?
